But St Mark’s takes control early with a 14-2 run to start the game, capped by this Colin Smith dunk for the Lions.
Houston Christian looking to get back into it, Kobe Haynes drives, draws the contact and gets the shot to go, but the Mustangs trail by 26 at halftime.
Mustangs come out running in the third, Noah Kon goes up strong and lays it in for the fast break bucket. And then moments later, Houston Christian forces a turnover and the Mustangs push it ahead to Kon, and he pulls up for the quick three, nice sequence right there for the Mustangs.
But Houston Christian can’t slow down St Mark’s. Noah Shelby pulls up from long distance, and the Lions are the new Kings of the SPC, as St Mark’s dethrones Houston Christian, 85-57 is the final.
