Head Coach John Snelson, Dickinson High School - Chevy Spotlight

June 12th, 2015 is a day Dickinson Head Coach John Snelson will never forget. Throat cancer was the diagnosis and a long road was ahead of him, but he would not be alone. It would be a tough summer and start to the season for Coach Snelson. The coaching staff and players all noticed a difference, but they say his commitment and passion for his team never wavered. Coach Snelson says he learned a lot about himself and what is truly important to him while going through this life-changing event. At the end of October, Coach Snelson was told his prognosis was looking very positive and everything is going in the right direction, including his team which are playing the third round of the playoffs.
