Head Coach Don Price, C.E. King High School - Chevy Spotlight

A team doesn’t exist without players, but more importantly a team doesn’t exist without a coach to guide them. C. E. King High School knows they have a good one in fourth year Head Coach, Don Price. Coach Price has been guiding young athletes on the football field for 41 years, 19 of them as a head coach and he can trace his passion for the game all the way back to his days growing up in Nederland. Since his arrival at C.E. King, every player noticed a change in the culture of the Panthers program. Respect, discipline and dedication became commonplace in the locker room and on the field. The turnaround has been evident as the Panthers made the playoffs last year for the first time in several seasons and had one of the schools best finishes. Prior to the 2015 season, Coach Price was honored with an award that might be more treasured than a golden ball, as he was elected to the Greater Houston Football Coaches Association Hall of Honor.
