Georgetown Lady Eagles vs. Tomball Lady Cougars 2013 Basketball Week 8

Over to 4A for the region 3 final, Tomball taking on #1 ranked Georgetown. Georgetown off to a fast start Kaitlan Walla hits the 3, 13-3 after one. Then Walla with the steal and the lay in, Georgetown up 17-5. Tomball's Lexy Marks lays it in, 21-8. 3rd quarter, Walla hits the three, Georgetown's lead is 15, 29-14. But the Lady Cougars won't quit, Hannah Plucheck gets it to go, and the lead is down to 8 with three minutes to go in the 4th. Then Alayna Waters hits the jumper and they are within 6, but time ran out on the layd Cougars. They would get no closer. Georgetown celebrates with a 41-30 win and a trip to state.
