In the 2nd quarter, up 14-7, The TCU commit is at it again, he cuts it to his left and breaks it 46 yards to the house as he dives for the pilon.....but the ref says he stepped out at the 1....I don't see it, but the Hurricanes would score on the next play.
Longhorns showed a solid ground attack in first half too. Jayden Shelton 34 yards right up the middle and George Ranch only trailed 21-14.
But the Hurricanes would outscore them 41-10 the rest of the game. How about Jo Jo Stewart behind center....feeling the pressure...and Jo Jo, playing the role of traffic cop as he let's his guy, Kade Phillips know to go deep...I'll get it to ya....and he does. 57 yard score to put Hightower up 28-17 at the break
Then Stewart throws one up in double coverage to Shane King because he knows King will find a way to bring it down. Hightower wins it 62-24.
