Game of the Week - Dallas Madison vs Coldspring-Oakhurst

Coldspring-Oakhurst takes the floor in the state semifinals against Dallas Madison, looking to cap off a dream season…

Early on, Coldspring’s Jacoby Bishop drives into the lane and uses the nice move to finish for two.

Later in the first, it’s Duke Lawniczak(Lawn-uh-chack) running the fast break for the Trojans, he delivers the nice dish to Bishop for two more of his 20 points, Coldspring races out to a quick 11-5 lead.

More Coldspring, Bishop fires the nice pass inside to Jared Curry who goes up for the easy bucket.

Back comes Madison in the second, Tavorice(Tuh-vore-iss) Weaver takes it all the way, coast to coast and kisses it off the glass for two to things up at 27 apiece.

Madison continues to push the pace, Kaden Keal finishes the fast break with a layup, part of a 12-2 run to end the half by Madison, and Coldspring trails by ten at intermission.

Coldspring battles back in the third, Lawniczak drops it off for Kudaveon Thergood for the easy layin.

Then the Trojans go inside to Dante Eldridge for two more and Coldspring is right back within six.

Madison answers by going into the post as well, nice move by Warren Dunn on the low block for the deuce.

Then it’s Dunn coming up with the loose ball in a scrum on the floor, he flings it downcourt for Dyeshun King(Die-shun) and he lays it in for the transition bucket.

Coldspring not going away though, Lawniczak spots up in the corner and buries the three pointer.

More from Lawniczak, this time on the run, check out the acrobatic move to finish with the circus shot for two of his game-high 21 points.

But Coldspring can’t get any closer than six, Madison gets the block, the outlet pass up ahead to Weaver for the fast break basket and Coldspring falls in the 3A state semifinals, 90-73 is the final.
