Galveston Ball Tornadoes vs. Willowridge Eagles - 2014/15 Girls Basketball - 02/10/15

Senior Night in Galveston as Ball hosted Willowridge. With the win Ball would capture it’s first outright district title in school history and this one got put to bed early, 1st quarter Martina Rawls takes it downcourt like a point guard, then takes the pass from Destini Tinsley and finishes strong like a post for 2 of her 12 points. Look at the relentless pressure from Ball, Freshman Nina Kovach picks it up and extends the Ball lead. She led the way for the Lady Tornados with 14 points. The give and go from Olivia Sjostrom to Sheridan Hopkins makes it 16 – 0, Hopkins also finished in double figures with 12. More up tempo Hopkins up to Mya Baptiste who makes a quick pass to Sjostrom. Ball was up 22-0 and it was never in doubt. 63-16 is the final, as the the Lady Tors wrap up the first outright girls basketball district championship in school history.
