Playoff spot on the line in 10-5A Division 1 as Fulshear took on Manvel.
Not alot of scoring in this one. Here's the only score in the first half. Fulshear quarterback Parker Williams looking....looking...and then running for a 9 yard score. 2 point conversion no good and the Chargers led 6-0 at the half.
Second half, Manvel takes the lead, Kaeden Smith fakes the handoff and takes it up the middle. Smith is free to roam and he'll go 48 yards to put the Mavericks up 7-6 in the 3rd.
Later 3rd, Fulshear on the 1 and about to score, but Zane Smith fumbles, picks it up and then is stripped again....this time Zion Jones comes up with it to preserve the 7-6 lead.
8 minutes left in the game and Fulshear gets a 22 yard field goal from Joey Mahoney to take a 9-7 lead.
Manvel with the ball now trying to generate some offense, but Smith moves up in the pocket, but his pass is picked by Jacob Hoffart as the Chargers cling to the 2 point lead.
Manvel gets it back and lines it up for a 52 yard field goal. Chase Cross' kick is long enough, but it's wide left. Fulshear wins it 9-7 and punches a ticket to the post season.
