Foster vs Shadow Creek - 2019 Texas High School Football Playoffs Week 3 Highlights

Moving to Class 5A Division One, district rivals Shadow Creek and Foster meet for the 2nd time in 5 weeks.

Foster up 3-0 in the first when Ryan Stubblefield zips one to a wide open Isaac Johnson and Johnson takes it the distance, 36 yards for the score, Falcons up 10-0 after one.

It’s 17-0 in the 2nd when Kelvin Brown gets Shadow Creek on the board with this short 2 yard touchdown run, Sharks down 17-7.

The Falcons respond through the air as Stubblefield fires downfield for Cody Jackson, nice leaping grab and he trots in for a 33 yard touchdown, Foster smelling an upset, leading 24-7 at intermission.

The Sharks fight back in the third, Drones scrambles and breaks into the open field, look at him go! 40 yards for a Shadow Creek touchdown, and suddenly it’s 24-17.

Then it’s Drones tossing it back to Trent McGaughey on the screen, and he has a convoy of blockers. It’s a 21-yard touchdown and Shadow Creek ties it up at 24-apiece.

Still in the third, Drones has all day in the pocket, he launches deep downfield for Seth Jones, it’s a 42-yard touchdown pass play, what a third quarter for the Sharks, they take their first lead of the game, 30-24.

But in the fourth, Johnson fights his way across the goalline for a 4-yard touchdown run and Foster goes back in front, 31-30.

Foster threatening to score again, but on 4th and goal, the Sharks defense swarms to the ball and Shadow Creek gets a huge stop.

Drones then leads the Sharks down the field on a 99-yard touchdown drive, as he hits CJ Guidry in the end zone for the game-winning score. What a comeback win for Shadow Creek, 36-31, and the Sharks advance to play May-nor in the next round.
