Hightower answers from the outside in the 2nd, as Morgan Strawder connects from long distance.
But Foster continues its hot perimeter shooting as Journee Sample splashes the three.
In the third, Sample connects once again and the Lady Falcons lead by 7.
Lady Canes respond with some defense, Destini Lombard gets the steal and she takes it coast to coast for the layup.
It’s tied at 39 with a minute to go when Lombard comes up with the loose ball and takes off down the floor, basket and the foul for Lombard, Hightower leads by 3.
Foster looking for the tie, Ivery launches the off-balance three but it’s no good, and Fort Bend Hightower hangs on for a hard-fought 42-39 victory over Foster.
