Fort Bend Willowridge vs Fort Bend Marshall - 2019 Week 6 Football Highlights

Fort Bend Marshall and Willowridge renew their rivalry at Hall Stadium Friday night.

It’s 7-6 Marshall in the first, when Buffs Quarterback Malik Hornsby rolls to his left and tosses it to the tight end Jamaal Ulmer, Buffaloes up 14-6.

Still in the first, Hornsby has plenty of time in the pocket, he airs it out for a wide open Javion Matthews, Matthews can walk into the end zone, Marshall leads 21-6 after one.

Late in the half, Hornsby trying to buy himself time and make something happen, but Willowridge’s Anthony Stevens applies the hit and forces a fumble, Andre Williams scoops it up and he’s off to the races. He returns it for an Eagles touchdown, it’s 28-13 with 28 seconds left in the half.

But that’s plenty of time for the high-octane Marshall offense. Hornsby swings it out to Brandon Tryon, and great blocking downfield by the Buffs, Tryon races down the far sideline, he dives across the goalline and Marshall leads 35-13 at halftime.

Early in the third, Willowridge looking to throw, but Christian Jackson jumps the route, he picks it off and heads the other way, it’s a pick six, and Marshall rolls past Willowridge, 49-13 is the final.
