Foster and Fort Bend Travis both 1-0 to start the year… Travis gets on the scoreboard first, as Aundre smith takes the pitch and scampers six yards for a Tigers touchdown, it’s 7-0 Travis. Foster answers through the air, Ryan Stubblefield drops back and heaves one deep downfield for Cody Jackson, he hits him in stride and Jackson strolls into the end zone, falcons tie it up at 7. In the 2nd, Travis quarterback Eric Rodriguez looks into the end zone for his favorite target, Parker Washington, nice grab by Washington for a 6-yard score, let’s look at it one more time, that’s one heckuva one-handed catch right there! Tigers lead 14-7. It’s 21-7 when the falcons go back to their aerial attack. Stubblefield buys himself time and then launches another rocket, this one for Carter Wilson, who hauls it in in the end zone to the Travis lead to 21-14 at halftime. But Foster can’t slow down Travis. Rodriguez connects with Washington one more time, and the Penn State commit is off to the races, he goes all the way for his 2nd touchdown of the night, Travis leads 42-21. And then how about some defense from the Tigers, Cameron Oliver jumps the rout for the interception, and there’s nothing between him and the end zone, he returns it all the way for a touchdown, and Travis is off to a 2-0 start with an impressive 49-35 win over Foster.
