Ridge Point and George Ranch have mirrored each other in that they both lost their 2 non district games but are 3-0 in district.
However, Friday night proved that might be their only similarities. Ezell Jolly started off the scoring for Ridge Point with 2 first quarter touchdowns and the Panthers led 13-0.
Then the Ridge Point defense steps up. Longhorns running right side by a big hit causes a fumble and Cortez Nichols falls on it and the Panthers are in business.
Next play, Austin Carlisle throws to Mason Dossett who dances around some defenders for a 27 yard score and the Panthers are up 20-0 after 1.
Proving he can just about do it all, Dossett also was a factor on defense as he picks off this deep pass. That helped Ridge Point earn our defensive title belt.
3rd quarter, Panthers start having some fun. Look at the double reverse flea flicker and Carlisle hits Preston Cooper for the 18 yard score. Ridge Point manhandles George Ranch 61-0.
