Swimmers from the Greater Houston area made a significant impact at the recent UIL State Swimming and Diving meet. In this Chevy Spotlight, Jeff Power focuses on the success of Fort Bend ISD athletes who dominated the podium. Dulles High School senior Winnie Liu overcame a stressful start to claim silver in the 200 freestyle and added another silver in the 100 freestyle. Austin High School junior Kimberly Kulow also shined, earning a silver medal in the 100 fly with a personal best time. On the boys' side, Kade Nilsson from Travis High School secured a gold medal in the 50-yard freestyle, clocking in at 20.47 seconds.
