Fort Bend Bush Broncos vs. Fort Bend Travis Tigers - 2013 Football - Week 5

A couple of great number one's on the field Friday night at Mercer Stadium as Bush quarterback Ronald Monroe leads the Broncos against Nick Harvey and the Travis Tigers. First offensive series for the Broncos and Ronald Monroe is rolling to his right and finds Kasey Poole for a 37 yard touchdown as Bush grabs a 7-0 lead. After a Bush turnover Travis would capitalize, Darius Bowen right up the middle for an 8 yard touchdown to tie the game at 7. Now 14-7 Bush late in the 2nd quarter, and Ronald Monroe shows why he's one of the most dangerous weapons in the state. You can bet that Texas State fans can't wait to get this guy on campus 77 yards later he's in the endzone for another Broncos touchdown to make it 21-7 Bush. They led 28-7 at the break, 2nd half Travis makes a run with three straight scores, this 22 yard TD toss from Cody Cunningham to Nick Harvey pulls the Tigers within 9 as the Texas A&M commit gets into the endzone. But Bush would pull away, Ronald Monroe to the endzone for Brother Donald for the 18 yard touchdown, his 4th touchdown pass of the night and Bush rolls over the Travis Tigers, 42-26 the final.
