Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs vs. Fort Bend Clements Rangers - 2013 Football - Week 9
July 21, 2018
Clements Rangers welcoming the Austin Bulldogs to Mercer Stadium on homecoming night. But the Bulldogs are looking to spoil the party. First drive for Austin, Bryson Oglesby busts a big run before being brought down just shy of the goal line. Then Vic Enwere finishes the job, up and over for the TD 6-0 Bulldogs. On their following drive...the Rangers facing 4th and long, but it's no problem for junior quarterback Kolt Harfield as his pass is perfect and Luke Mayock makes a great grab for the score and a 7-6 Clements lead. But Austin would rattle off 21 unanswered points, including this 52-yard run from Enwere, despite the bobbled snap he goes the distance to make it 20-7 Bulldogs. Clements trying to keep it close in the first half as Austin Williams scores from short yardage cutting the Austin lead to 27-14. But the end of the first half would see more domination from Austin, Enwere continues his big night, this time a 6 yard score to extend the advantage to 34-13. And Oglesby closes out the first half of scoring as he takes the pitch from Seun Aboderin and scores on a 19-yard play, Austin up 40-14 going to the half and Bulldogs clinch a spot in the playoffs with the win.
