Bellaire Episcopal has been dominant this year in SPC and they took on rival, Episcopal School of Dallas Friday night.
Mid first quarter, ESD's Jake GIerkey overthrows his receiver and that's Bellaire's Brooks Edwards taking it back for the pick six and helping the Knights win our defensive title belt. They led 7-3.
2nd quarter and Knight QB Karson Gordon feels the pressure....dumps it off to Brandon Thomas and watch Thomas just make everyone miss. That's a thing of art right there. 31 yards to the end zone. Bellaire Episcopal up 21-6.
How about this play? Our cameraman can't even find the quarterback...he's hidden.....and there's just a big pile of players....but wait, there he is,...Gordon comes out of nowhere to go 41 yards for another score. 28-6.
And in the second half, Gordon took a break and Thomas would take some direct snaps. This one he houses 55 yards for another touchdown. Bellaire Episcopal wins it 42-9.
