While the rest of the world struggled to find a sense of “normal” during 2020, the East Bernard band thrived. Refusing to let this pandemic hold them back, the Mighty Brahma Band had one of their most successful marching band seasons in recent history. Besides adding extra safety precautions, the East Bernard band did not change much from years before as they dedicated themselves even more to their love of music.
The Brahmas band worked hard enough to receive top ratings at each competition they attended this season including first place at the UIL Area E marching contest. They proved if you put in the work, the results speak for themselves.At East Bernard, the band is like family. That not only includes their fellow band members, but their supporters as well which is why each week they give back to the teachers and volunteers who have been behind them the whole year. As the seniors graduate and head out into the world, each member of the band is able to leave their “mark”.....their Senior Mark, if you will. They decorate the sidewalk with a musical note and their name as a way leave their “mark” for years to come.
