Duncanville Defeats Cy Ranch 49-41 in Class 6A Region II Final

In a defensive battle at the Class 6A Division I Region II Final in Georgetown, the Duncanville Panthers defeated Cy Ranch 49-41 to advance to the state semifinals. Duncanville started strong with a 10-0 lead led by Christopher Hunt, but Cy Ranch fought back behind the Goodwin brothers, Josh and KJ. The Mustangs took a 33-32 lead into the fourth quarter thanks to a corner three by KJ Goodwin. However, Duncanville’s Ryland Groom scored three consecutive baskets down the stretch to seal the victory for the Panthers, ending a great season for Cy Ranch.
