Dickinson Gators vs. Brazoswood Buccaneers - 2013 Football - Week 8

The Dickinson Gators on the road to battle the Brazoswood Buccaneers in a district 24-5A duel. Gators bite first, coming up big on defense when Rod'Johon Dorsey scoops and scores 40 yards for the fumble return touchdown, Dickinson up 7-0. Buccaneers fired up going to the second quarter, same drive and the end result is La'Wayne Ross finding pay dirt from 20 yards out, all square at 7-all. After a Dickinson field goal the Buccaneers answer once again this time on the ensuing kickoff Maleek Goins handles the short kick on the near side, works his way back to the far side and with some good blocking and a big effort to slip a would-be defender, Goins takes it all the way back to give his team a 14-10 advantage. Dickinson takes over. That leads to the first offensive touchdown for the Gators on the night as Cameron Martin keeps, spins out of a tackle and scores. Dickinson goes up 17-14 and goes on for the 10 point win, 31-21.
