Dekaney High School Girl's Basketball - Chevy Spotlight

When Dekaney High School opened in 2007, Coach Stacey Stroman moved over from Spring High School to start the Wildcats program. All they have done since starting varsity competition? 7 straight years in the playoffs, 6 straight seasons of at least 27 wins and 5 straight district title. This season the number three ranked Lady Wildcats will look to continue all of those streaks behind the leadership of senior guard and one of the country's top prospects, Jaelyn Richard-Harris. While the records are impressive, the ultimate goal is the one that has eluded the Lady WIldcats all along, a State Championship. All pieces are in place this season for Dekaney to make school history and finally win it all. Congratulations to the Dekaney Lady WIldcats for being this week's Chevy Spotlight.
