Deer Park Deer vs. La Porte Bulldogs - 2013 Football - Week 7

Game tied at 7. less than a minute to go. La Porte's Britt Grant with a huge run he passes midfield & rumbles all the way to the 43. It's now 4th & 7 La Porte at the 40 with just 24 seconds left. Jordan Jackson the quick screen to Grant, he gets the 1st down and more 24 yards to the 16 & that puts La Porte in FG range with a chance to win. They'll attempt a FG with 12 seconds left, but the game winning attempt is blocked by Deer Park and the run back doesn't get far so we're going to overtime. 1st play in overtime, Deer Park QB Connor Means with the read option keeper, and Means has a huge hole and he fights his way in near the goal line for the touchdown. So now La Porte has to respond to keep it going, 4th & 11 now from the 15 Jackson will launch one into the endzone, but it's broken up & Deer Park can celebrate this one, huge celebration for the Deer.
