The Dawson Lady Eagles hosted Goose Creek Memorial and this game will go a long way in deciding the district 24-4A race. Dawson has yet to lose on their home court. Patriots off to a quick start in this one, knocking down some early shots. Faith Cook here to get Goose Creek on the board. Cook finished with a game high 19 points. The Lady Eagles would go on a 6-0 run, all fueled by Kasi Matthews she spots up and hits the three pointer to tie the game. Dawson now with a seven point lead, but Madisen Williams cuts into that as she cans a 3 ball for the Patriots. Game tied at 18 apiece, Dawson on the fast break, Cree Hammond gets the transition layup but she pays the price as she goes down hard and injures her knee, she would not return to the game, Hammond is committed to play ball at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. 2nd half, the Lady Eagles get hot on the perimeter, Kasi Matthews again for 3, Matthews led the way for her team with 16 points 7 boards and 4 assists. They hold on to win it 50-38.
