Cy Springs looking to make the post season for the first time in 20 years, but they'd need a win over Cy Woods
Bryant Thomas would help Cy Woods take a big early lead with 2 touchdown runs including this 32 yarder and the Wildcats were up 21-7.
Panthers would fight back. Tim Saunders on the 2 yard run up the middle for 6 as Cy Springs trailed by only a score.
Then in the 2nd quarter, Harrison Mass throws the swing pass to Paris Melvin and Paris does the rest for the 20 yard touchdown. The Panthers would lead 27-21 at the half.
Late 3rd quarter, Cy Woods quarterback Aiden Horton with the pump fake and Kylan Singletary was all alone down field for the 55 yard go ahead score. Wildcats up 28-27.
But with less than 3 minutes to play in the game, Raphael Heredia kicks a 30 yard field goal for Cy Springs to win it 30-28 as the Panthers are in the playoffs for the first time since 2003.
