5 teams in 16-6A came into this week tied for second at 3-2. Cy Woods and Cy Springs were two of them and they faced off Friday night.
Second quarter, Cy Woods in the red zone....Myles West busts up the middle, looking for paydirt, except he dropped the football....no worries, Ty Cogdill falls on it and the Wildcats lead 11-0.
Cy Springs answers back. Harrison Mass passes to Tim Saunders and Saunders finds some daylight in the middle of the field for a 27 yard touchdown and the Panthers trail 11-7.
Cy Woods would then take over. 3rd quarter, Aidan Horton with a little quarterback keeper action. That's a 7 yard score. 27-7 Wildcats.
Then, in the 4th, Horton throws the 7 yard strike to Logan Johnson. Cy Woods rolls to a 34-13 win and inches closer to a playoff spot.
