Cy Fair vs Cy Falls is the Week 6 Houston Inside High School Sports Game of the Week - 2019

Both student sections are on their feet and ready to go as Cy-Fair and Cy Falls meet with first place in District 17-6A at stake Friday night.

Cy-Fair leads 3-0 in the first when LJ Johnson sees a huge hole up the right side, he turns on the afterburners and goes the distance, 45 yards for the Bobcats touchdown, Cy-Fair leads 10-0 after one.

It’s 10-7 in the 2nd, Cy-Fair Quarterback Carter Cravens looking deep downfield, but sliding in for the interception for Cy Falls is Chris Ramos, as momentum starts to shift toward the Golden Eagles.

The Cy Falls offense moves it down the field, and Brandon Collins caps off the drive, as he scrambles and wiggles his way 13 yards to the end zone, Cy Falls goes in front, 14-10.

The Bobcats answer through the air. Cravens connects with his tight end Bayne Tryon, and Tryon uses the stiff-arm to shake free of his defender and goes 49 yards for the score, Cy-Fair reclaims the lead 16-14.

Then just before halftime, that duo hooks up again. Cravens throwing it up deep for Tryon who pulls it down for a 33-yard gain into the red zone.

Moments later, Johnson finds the end zone for his second score of the game, this one from 7 yards out, and Cy-Fair has a 23-14 halftime lead.

It’s 30-14 in the third, when Jaylen Walker busts it up the gut for a 2 yard touchdown run for the Golden Eagles, Cy Falls back within 10, at 30-20.

But there was no slowing down LJ Johnson. The junior rushes for 245 yards and 4 touchdowns, this one from 14 yards out to put the finishing touches on a Cy-Fair victory. The Bobcats win it 37-20 over Cy Falls.
