Crosby Cougars vs. Kingwood Park Panthers - 2014 Football - Week 6

The Crosby mascots & fans making the trip to Humble as the Cougars faced Kingwood Park. 1st Quarter, Crosby at the Kingwood Park 12 & QB Tristen Cotton hits Freshman Craig Williams with the screen pass. He scoots in for 6 & it's 7-0 Cougars Ensuing kickoff is a short one & fumbled by Kingwood Park. Crosby's Alec Lewis recovers at the 34 That sets up this. Cotten with a little dump off to Shane Hudson. Shane picks up a convoy of blockers & goes 43 yards for the Cougar touchdown. 14-0 Cougs 2nd Quarter, QB Tristen Cotton goes deep & Emmanuel Netherly. 42 yards to the Kingwood Park 19 A couple plays later, D'onta Allen takes the direct snap at the 2.. and gets in there. 21-0 Cougars at the half But Kingwood Park fights back in the 2nd half. Parker Cradic scores on the 2 yard TD run. Cuts it to 21-6 4th Q.. and Cradic gets another 2 yard TD run. 21-12 The Panthers go for 2. QB Zach Purcell to Matthew Reyna... and they're within 7. 21-14 It's now 24-14. But the Panthers don't quit. Purcell with the QB draw at the 5. That TD pulls them within 3. 24-21 But on 4th down in the final minute.... Crosby's defense steps up. Matthew Gregory wearing 99.. & like JJ Watt he comes up with the big sack. Cougars hold on.. 24-21
