First quarter, Jackson Rudy fires a pass to Colby Van Bruaene (Braun-Knee) for a 9 yard pass that would get the Cougars on the board early.
Abilene Christian would take the lead 24-12 when Brooks Armstrong does some tough running to find his way to the house on a 25 yard score.
2nd quarter, Cougars fought all the way back. Rudy...looking like he's going to pass....but he splits the defenders and takes off down the sidelines on what would wind up being a 60 yard touchdown. Conroe Covenant would hang on to win state, 80-76
