Cleveland High School FFA - Chevy Spotlight

From learning how to shear a goat, to rearing a baby pig, to welding a hayrack the Cleveland FFA chapter certainly stays true to its roots. :33 I love to be around animals being outside and all that meet people and do new things get to work with animals go out and compete and all that. New skills are being forged as well. The FFA also has awards for public speaking, how to conduct meetings, and the organization can be very helpful in preparing students for a variety of careers. The Cleveland FFA competes for championships and has hung several banners on the wall just like your typical sports team, but in addition to the thrill of victory an FFA member can win thousands of dollars for selling one of their prized animals at a show. 2:33 Never won a show, but hopefully I will before I graduate done well with a goat pig I’ve placed pretty high never shown a cow. Getting the money helps you go to college helps you go to start a career. In addition to their own contests the chapter does various community service projects around the Cleveland area including a toys for tots drive, picking up trash and teaching younger kids with agricultural aspirations.
