Clear Creek Wildcats vs. Clear Falls Knights - 2014/15 Boys Basketball - 01/06/15

Off to the Carlisle field house where there was a line out the door waiting to get into this one. Clear Falls had upset on their mind, but the home team had things going their way in the 2nd quarter. Clear Creek's AJ Sparks he’s half guard, half metaphor as he Sparks the Wildcats to a 20-14 lead. Final seconds of the half, Payton Barnes with a great move to the hole to get Clear Falls back on track and he gets fouled for a 3 point play attempt. Barnes misses his free throw, but gets his own rebound right at the buzzer for a 4 point play the hard way. That pulled Clear Falls to within 4 at the half. Barnes led the Knights with 17 points. Cool moment at half time as several former Clear Creek basketball players were honored including longtime head coach and gym namesake Buddy Carlisle who got the students fired up. Nice to see the respect for the tradition Carlisle built. Jabrel Trammel with a buzzer beater to end the 3rd and it was still a 4 point game 37-33 Clear Creek. In the 4th quarter Tyquon Jordan goes baseline it was part of a 10-0 run for the Wikdcats. Jordan led all scorers with 19 and things were looking bleak for the Knights. Drew Chronsiter stops the bleeding with the dunk to pull Clear Falls to 52-47 but they would get no closer. Clear Creek wins 57-49.
