CE King Panthers vs. Galena Park Yellowjackets - 2014/15 Boys Basketball - 02/03/15

The CE King Junior Air Force ROTC got the action started as the Panthers who have one of the areas top juniors in Gilbert Thomas hosted Galena Park. Early on the 6-6 Thomas is on the business end of an alley oop, but appears to hurt his hand on the throw down. CE King with the full court pressure, Jaylon Merrit with the steal and the bucket. The Panthers jumped out in a hurry. Thomas showed no ill effects, from the earlier scare, the Big Jam puts CE King up 25-6. Another Thomas Jam makes it 34-8 CE King and we're still in the first quarter! Thomas had 20 points in the first and the Panthers led 38-8 after 1 which would've been enough as CE King wins big 102-35. No telling what Thomas could've ended up with, but head coach Laurence Woods sat the starters for most of the remainder of the game.
