Bush Lady Broncos vs. Hightower Lady Hurricanes - 2013 Basketball - Week 4

Bush entered the week with a commanding 3 game lead in 23-5A girls play facing Hightower who has made some strong playoff runs the last several years. Kalah Guidry with the interception and gets it up ahead to Alana Heard who gets the lay up and the foul for a 3 point play and even coach Deborah Mize is giving high 5's, the Lady Canes would be up 7 with under 5 minutes left in the 4th. Bush goes on an 8-0 run as Bunmi Okunade crashes the boards for the putback, 46-45 Bush with under 2 minutes left. Mize draws up her favorite play, give the ball to Heard and get out of the way. The UTSA commit goes in strong for the basket, she led everyone with 22, and it's 51-49 Hightower. Bush employs the same strategy as Kemokai can't be stopped and the game is tied @ 51 with 32 seconds to play. 3 seconds left, Bush down 1 the inbounds pass to Crystal Chidomere, but it bounces off the rim and Hightower wins it 52-51
