Brenham Cubs vs. George Ranch Longhorns - 2013 Football 4A Division II Region III Final
George Ranch fans were fired up as the Longhorns marched out for their first ever state quarterfinal. Brenham did most of the marching early on, first drive Cubs Caleb Hill goes deep to James Homan 76 yard TD 7-0. Cubs next possession Hill fakes the handoff then fires to Courtland Sutton, that's a 61 yard score, 14-0. George Ranch with the ball, Timon Nolan throws it long, but Desmond Lockett great interception. It was 21-0 at half. Early 4th, now 28-0 Brenham, George Ranch has it, Nolan uncorks it, and it's caught by Xavian Marks to the five yard line. Fourth and goal at the one, Collins Kwabena on the give, stopped short before the fumble, Brenham takes over at the one. But from the one, the bad pitch in the endzone and Geroge Ranch's Tsola Efejeku recovers for the Longhorns. Brenham drives it right back down, Earnest Patters takes it 14 yards for the score, Brenham advances to the state semifinals with the decisive 35-6 victory.
