Brenham Cubettes vs. Caney Creek Panthers - 2013-14 Girls Basketball - 01/03/14

4A's 4th ranked Brenham hosted Caney Creek, the Cubettes feature 6-7 Teirra Mcgowan who is one of the top junior prospects in the nation. 2nd qtr. McCowan gets the board and sends it to Angel Darcus for the fast break, Darcus had 23 points to lead Brenham, McCowan had 22 rebounds and this is not the same play, but it has the same result with the same cast of characters. The back to back fast break outlet passes put Brenham up 21-4. Brenham has another big post player in 6-3 Alencia Woodberry and it was 32-5 @ the half, Caney Creek had only one field goal in the 1st half. While Caney Creek wasn't having too good of a time check out the girl who was, winning the teach me how to Dougie dance contest at halftime. Brenham continued to pour it on in the 3rd, Dierra Phillips with the 3 pointer to make it 43 -- 7. Brenham's defense was all over Caney Creek, in the 4th, Woodberry with the steal, over to Darcus who finds Alicia Jackson for a 50 point lead there. Brenham head coach Chante Crutchfield sees her team win without two of it's starters in the lineup, 67-18 the final.
