Great private school matchup up in Dallas as 4-1 Bellaire Episcopal visited 5-0 Episcopal School of Dallas.
3rd quarter and Bellaire was down 17-7, but Karson Gordon somehow avoids the sack and completes this pass to Jackson Chavis for a 25 yard touchdown cutting the deficit to 3.
Late 3rd quarter, Knights back down 10 but Gordon throws 6 yards to Carson Fowler and that's another score. Bellaire Episcopal down 24-21 after 3.
Early 4th quarter, the Knights finally take the lead. Gordon looks right but throws left to Fowler for 20 yard touchdown and now. Bellaire Episcopal is up 28-24.
Later, Gordon takes it himself from 8 yards out and with 6 minutes to play the Knights lead it 35-24.
But with 5 seconds left, Bellaire up 35-31, ESD quarterback Patrick Burke lofts one to the back of the end zone, Hutch Chipman grabs it, but loses it when he hits the ground. Somehow, the ref says it's a catch. Take a look at the slo motion replay. Doesn't look like a catch to me, but it counts and Bellaire Episcopal loses a heartbreaker 39-35.
