North Shore's week didn't get an easier as they faced Beaumont Ozen who is ranked 4th in 5A at the Cypress Hoops Invitational. 1st Q.. North Shore's Paul Ard with the long outlet to Kerwin Roach for the layup Final seconds of the quarter & Ozen's Jalen Sneed launches a 3 at the buzzer. Off the glass & it rolls in... nothing to it. Ozen up 1 2nd Q... Ozen's Joshua Boyd with a long 3.. same spot on the floor... got it! North Shore's Roach with the drive & dish to Chukumeke Egbule for the layup... Mustangs up 8 at the half 3rd Q.. Ozen on the run... John Comeaux takes it thru traffic for the basket And Ozen is making a run.. Boyd up ahead to Christian Bolton who is boltin' in for the jam! Game tied after 3 4th q.. Ard with the dish to Egbule who makes the shot, takes contact & gets 3 the hard way Ozen's Sneed with the drive & dish to Ennis Harmon who lays it up & in Then it's Ozen with the some nice passing in the open floor. Ends up in the hands of Comeaux for 2... and Ozen pulls off an upset.. 50-46 the Final
