Then the Mavs turn to the ground game, Donovan Eaglin breaks a tackle and he takes it 25 yards for the score, Mavericks lead 21-7. Kaopua trying to keep Barbers Hill in it, he darts in for a 4 yard score, Eagles trail 27-14 after one. But Barbers Hill can’t slow down the Mavs offensive attack. Eagles bursts through a big hole and he takes this one the distance. He goes 67 yards for another score, Manvel leads 41-21 at halftime. In the third, Eaglin adds his fifth touchdown of the afternoon, he rushes for 288 yards, and Manvel rolls past Barbers Hill 55-35 is the final. The Mavs will meet the winner of today’s game between Fort Bend Marshall and Huntsville.
