Atascocita vs Fort Bend Ridge Point - 2021 Week 14 Football Game of the Week

Last year's game was a 55-45 shootout, but both teams had trouble getting it going in this one.

Up 3-0 in the second quarter, Eagles ZIon Brown pushes his way across the end line to put Atascocita up 10-0 at the half.

4th quarter, Eagles only up 10-7, Brown from the 4 rolls out to his right and there is Chase Sowell in the corner for the touchdown. Atascocita up 17-7.

Panthers with the answer. Bert Emanuel Junior with the pump fake which frees up Wilson Batiste (Buh-teest) for the 44 yard touchdown. Ridge Point down 17-14.

Later 4th quarter, from the 6, Tyras Winfield would take it in for the touchdown. Atascocita now up 24-14.

But wait, here comes Ridge Point, Emanuel Junior avoiding the rush and takes it himself down the sideline for a 17 yard score. 24-21.

Time for an on sides kick......but Atascocita recovers and runs out the clock. The Eagles heading to the regional final against the winner of our next game.
