ATASCOCITA vs KINGWOOD 1 – This 16-6A showdown saw the Kingwood Mustangs take on star junior point guard Carsen Edwards and the Atascocita Eagles 2 – Early in the first, 6 foot 7 inch sophomore FABIAN WHITE spins under the basket and gets the bucket. He had 19 3 – Then, CARSEN EDWARDS with the steal and he’s off! EDWARDS elevates and the big slam! 4 – More Eagles, LADARIUS YOUNG drives the lane, and gets the pretty floater to fall. Atascocita up 19-15 5 – Then, YOUNG goes down the lane again, but this time he is stuffed by FABIAN WHITE 6 – Just before half, JERRIS HARRIS nails the trey from the corner, Atascocita with a 36-23 lead at the break 7 – Second half, CARSEN EDWARDS drives, the quick stop, pops, and banks it in 8 – Off the inbound, PARIS MARQUEZ from the corner, drains the three ball 9 – Eagles up big, but Kingwood kept shooting. BRYAN BUTLER hits the long three pointer, and the Mustangs trails by 15 10 – Then to top it off, EDWARDS puts up the quick three, it’s good. He finished with 26 points, and Atascocita continues to win, 61-51 the final.
