The Barbers Hill Eagles faced off against Argyle in the UIL 5A Division 2 state championship game, marking their first appearance in the final since 1997. Head coach Bryan Harris saw his team fight back from an early deficit, with Jayci Lackey hitting a crucial three-pointer. Brooklynn Roberson led the charge for Barbers Hill, scoring a game-high 16 points to keep the score close at halftime. Second-half contributions came from Mady Dumphy and Autumn Lecompte, but Argyle responded with a strong run in the third quarter. Wrigley Green provided a highlight-reel finish for Argyle, who went on to win the title 51-42.
