Angleton ISD Veteran's Day Parade - Chevy Spotlight

Parades, flowers and flags have been part of celebrations across Texas as thousands of people marked Veterans Day. But the Angleton ISD’s involvement was one to be noted. Numerous Angleton ISD classes came together to honor and observe the military veterans in their community with a day of celebration. This day of celebration included a ceremony at the Ring of Honor, a Veteran’s Day Parade and a Veteran’s Day program which was conducted at Angleton High School Wild Cat Stadium. The veterans in the community were grateful and ecstatic to be recognized, one veteran commented, “It’s really nice to see these guys get acknowledgment for their service.” For their hard work and excellence in the community this week’s Chevy Spotlight Award goes to the Angleton ISD.
