Alief Taylor Lions vs. Hastings Bears - 2013 Football - Week 10

Alief Taylor grappling with Alief Hastings for the 18-5A district title. The Lions come out of the den roaring. On their first drive of the game Remi Olonade connects to Romello Brooker for a big 33 yard gain into Hastings territory. Later in the drive, Steven Thompson takes the handoff and sheds defenders along the way, chewing up 17 yards. Then on 4th and goal from the 1 Olonade goes to the bag of tricks and a jump pass to Anu Soymoye, Lions up 8-0. On the ensuing kickoff...Hastings unable to secure the ball, Elijah Sweet will cover it up for Taylor and the Lions are back in business. They go to the air again Olonade to Keenan Brown Brown goes up tall for a great grab. More aerial fireworks from Olonade on this drive as he hooks up with Brooker for their second TD connection of the night now 14-0 Taylor. To the second quarter we go, Lions knocking on the door again and once again it's the Olonade-Brooker duo doing the damage 21-0 Taylor after this 8-yard pass play. Olonade has 6 touchdown passes as Taylor leaves no doubt about who the best in 18-5A is with the 55-0 win.
