Alief Hastings Bears vs. Alief Elsik Rams - 2013 Football - Week 9

Hastings and Elsik two longtime rivals whose campuses are literally right next to each other. Bears and Rams at Crump stadium Friday. 1st quarter, Hastings gets right to work good running back combo this is Joshua Wiggins from 2 yards out, Hastings up 7-0. Then after an Elsik turnover, here comes Hastings again D'Andre Williams finds some space and there he goes 33 yard run for Williams all the way to the Rams 45 yard line. Same drive early 2nd quarter, Williams will finish it off or will he, number 22 from 22 yards out loses the football, should've been a touchback, it wasn't it was ruled a touchdown 14-3 Hastings at the half. 3rd quarter, good start to open the 2nd half for Elsik. Sophomore EJ Davis scoots in from 2 yards out, 2 point conversion was good Rams were down 14-11. Final though Hastings is a winner 26-18, they clinch a playoff spot and they'll play for a district title next week against Alief Taylor.
