Spring Westfield hosting 2nd place Aldine Nimitz Wednesday night.
Great play right from the start as Nimitz' Kyndall Roberts makes a great save on the errant pass right to Bre'Asia Jones for 2 and the Cougars led by 4.
Westfield would start hitting from behind the arc. Jameriah Butler steps into a 3 in the 2nd quarter to cut the Nimitz led to 1.
Then in the 3rd, that's Jade Francis in the corner for the trifecta. Westfield would lead 39-35.
Aniah Richard would help lead the Cougars back in the fourth. She scores on the breakaway layup and is fouled. Richard scored 21 points.
Then Roberts would score of the offensive rebound. She scored 17 points and Nimitz edges out a 58-55 win.
