Spring needed a win over Eisenhower Thursday and some help to avoid missing the post season for first time since 2013.
2nd quarter, Eisenhower up 7-0, and Eagle quarterback Zac Henry fakes the handoff and keeps it himself for his second running touchdown of the game. Eagles up 13-0.
Later in the second quarter, Spring's Clourid Johnson Junior throws a beautiful ball to Desmond Landry for a 23 yard touchdown. Lions only down 13-7.
Let 3rd, Eisenhower down 14-13, but Henry swings a pass to Texas commit, Ryan Niblett and he uses his speed to score on the 10 yard play. Eagles up 19-14.
Same score with a little over a minute left. Johnson trying to lead the Lions to victory but Johnathan Corbin gets the pic and returns it for a touchdown. That interception earns Eisenhower this weeks Defensive Title Belt and sends them into the post season on a high note as they win it 25-16.
