Because of a couple lightning delays, Eisenhower and Morton Ranch didn't finish until midnight Thursday, but what a finish it was.
First half, this is Morton Ranch Quarterback, Treylin Dixon to Mike Gerald. The Minnesota commit refuses to go down and that's a 49 yard touchdown. The Mavericks led 13-0 at the half.
Late 3rd quarter, and Eisenhower finally puts some points on the board. Jared Guter throws the quick screen to Ulysses Thibodeaux (Thib-uh-dough) who splits 2 defenders at the 30...then he splits two more at the 5 yard line. That's a 36 yard touchdown and the Eagles trail 13-6.
Pick it up with 16 seconds left in the game. Eisenhower down 16-12 at the Morton Ranch 43 yard line and Guter throws a picture perfect pass to Jonathan Corbin for the game winning touchdown. Wow, what a pass. Eisenhower wins it 18-16.
