Kaleb Stewart - Atascocita - MVP

Kaleb Stewart makes buckets for Atascocita and has done so the last 2 years. Last year he averaged 16 points and was the 22-6A player of the year. This year his numbers went down a bit while he was dealing with a league injury. However, he still helped the Eagles make it to the state semifinals. After transferring in from Crosby as a junior, Stewart has mastered the pull up jumper and can finish at the hoop. Kaleb will be playing at Louisiana Tech next year.

This week's MVP is Kaiya Wynn of Richmond Foster

Richmond Foster’s Kaiya (kye-yuh) Wynn only got one year to play with her Lady Falcon teammates, but OH what a year it was. Wynn averaged 29 points and over 10 rebounds a game while helping Foster to their first ever regional semifinal game. Her big guard frame made her a matchup nightmare for opponents as she could drain the 3 as well as finish in the paint. Wynn transferred from Tennessee and Tennessee is where she is heading next as she committed to be a Lady Vol for the next four years.

Jada Malone - The Village School

Jada Malone has dominated the private school ranks the past few years. Last year she led The Village School to the TAPPS 6-A State championship and this year she helped them to a 18-1 record and a #1 ranking in the state. She averaged 22 points and 11 rebounds last year as Malone is a physical low post performer who pounds the glass. Jada hopes to lead her team to back to back titles this year before heading off to Texas A&M next year.

Javon Jackson - C E King MVP

After helping lead Summer Creek to a 34-6 record last year, Javon Jackson is now at C E King this year as his dad is the new head coach. Jackson was the offensive M-V-P last year for the Bulldogs and has brought that scoring prowess to the Panthers. As a sophomore, Jackson was the District M-V-P. Javon can find his shot anywhere on the court and should flourish with his brother, Jaylon, by his side. Jackson is known for his toughness on the court and he hopes that leads to wins on the court for C E King. Javon is uncommitted for his college play.
