North Shore vs Atascocita - 2022 Week 10 Houston High School Football Game of the Week

North Shore entered this game on a 34 game district winning streak.

Atascocita was down 3-0 when they got their offense going. Zion Brown steps up in the pocket and goes deep to Darrell Gill for a 45 yard gain.

That would set up Kyran Lee on the end around from 2 yards out. Atascocita takes a 7-3 lead into the half.

3rd quarter, that lead would increase. Zion Brown is chased all over the place in the backfield. Finally shakes the defenders and Claude Slaughter is wide open in the back of the end zone for the touchdown pass. 13-3 Eagles.

Still 3rd, 4th and 2, and David Amador, who is filling in at quarterback for the injured Kaleb Bailey, fakes the reverse and keeps it himself. That's a 36 yard touchdown and North Shore is only down 13-9 after 3 quarters.

6 minutes left, same score, Amador showing he can throw too. He hits Terrance Guillory in stride for a 63 yard for the touchdown. Just a beautiful pitch and catch there. Mustangs lead 16-13.

Brown, trying to make some magic happen again for the Eagles, but this time his pass is picked off by Devin Sanchez. North Shore wins it 16-13 and can claim another district title next week with a win over Kingwood.
