Houston Worthing Colts vs. Houston Yates Lions - 2013 Football - Week 6

The Yates band was exciting the crowd with its halftime show as the Lions were up on Worthing 13-6. 3rd quarter action sees Yates Shun Brisby introduce himself to Worthing's Alfred Robertson for a sack and Yates seemed to have some momentum. Undeterred, Worthing found itself at the Yates 10 and look at the hole Robertson sees, the qb keeper puts Worthing up 14-13 after a 2 pt. conversion. Robertson wasn't through, he's just a sophomore, but watch as he escapes from several would be Lions tacklers for a 45 of his 112 rushing yards on the night, this one gets to the Yates 38 leading to a Worthing lead as the Colts were up 22-13 in the 4th. Yates Anthony Martin totes it in and that closes the gap to 22-19 with 8 minutes to play, and Yates is back in it. But Robertson leads the Colts downfield one more time, he gets across the goal line for his third rushing touchdown of the night. Worthing takes control of 1st place in district 23-3A with the 30-19 victory.
