Baytown Lee Ganders vs. Sam Rayburn Texans - 2013 Football - Week 1

LaTrone Williams was on the minds of Rayburn fans and players as the action got underway. 1st Quarter, Baytown Lee's defense was looking good early. The interception by Tyrell Washington & he brings it back past midfield before he goes down at the 45. On a 4th & 1 from the 22, Lee's Leo Cedro (Sea-Dro) with the carry, and busts it for more than the 1st down. He goes for six & the touchdown, 6-0 Ganders after the missed P.A.T. Rayburn on offense, the screen pass, Logan Ramirez finds Armando Garcia. 15 yard gain to the 22. Then it's Ramirez rolling out, and he looks for the back of the endzone. Jonathan Murillo's got it. Touchdown. 7-6 Texans. Lee's Leo Cedro with the carry, and a nice run by Cedro as he put up 207 yards on the night, this 22 yd carry gets the Ganders to the Texans 21. That sets up the QB draw from the 7, Javarius Irving takes it in and the Ganders are in full gear, 14-7. Then in the 2nd Quarter it's Dionte Robinson from his own 31, and he busts it open coming towards the near sideline and he's gone, the big run from Robinson gives the Ganders a 21-7 lead. Baytown Lee wins big 69-28 is the final.
